Discover Casa Techobanine, an idyllic escape near Ponta Mamoli and a short drive to Ponta de Ouro, Mozambique. While we may not feature the Big Four safari animals, our retreat neighbour - Reserva de Maputo - and its surroundings offer abundant wildlife viewing opportunities, including giraffes, impalas, buffaloes, hippos, crocodiles, and hyenas. Perfectly blending tranquillity, natural beauty, and adventure, Casa Techobanine is an ideal destination for romantic getaways, family vacations, meditation retreats, and outdoor enthusiasts. Our seaside retreat provides:

Beach house: this cosy haven is just a minute from the beach. It features a bedroom, a studio-style living area, a fully equipped kitchen, a balcony and an open-air shower.

Beachfront bungalows: with direct sand access, modern showers, and the chance to watch nearby whales. While the bungalows don’t have an inside kitchen, their location and amenities ensure a comfortable and unforgettable stay.

Campsite—empty slots: Immerse yourself in the tranquillity of our campsite, nestled in a serene forest setting. Enjoy beach access, separate shower facilities, and a social gathering area, all in a peaceful natural environment.

Casa Techobanine is just a 1.5- to 2-hour drive from Maputo City, and the site is easily accessible by 4x4 vehicles. The journey features scenic landscapes and rugged terrains that enhance the experience.

Our accommodations sit 28 meters above sea level, and the coordinates are 26°40'60" S and 32°53'59" E (or -26.6833, 32.8997 in decimal degrees).

Please note: The accommodation is in a peaceful, remote area with limited mobile network access. No power supply from the national grid exists, but we provide generator-powered electricity on a set schedule. The water supply is reliable, so pack carefully to ensure you have everything you need for a comfortable stay.
